Thanks Ryan for the welcome!. I would love to start logging my runs. Lately I have been running every other day. I have been doing 3 mile runs for about 2 weeks now. Last week I sucked it up and did 4 miles. Its a real addiction and I thank my brother for getting me into this!. I have a hard time breathing on outdoor runs when the temp. is below freezing. Note I was a smoker for 8 years.

Jared- Glad to hear you are running! Welcome! I'd encourage you to start logging your runs. I find it motivating and very helpful for making sure I'm not over doing it. There are several free online training logs. I use the one on RunnersWorld.com and have no complaints. If you want to have your runs automatically fed to the blog Ryan or I can make that happen.
Also, if you have a particular race in mind I would suggest following a training program. This way you don't over do it and get hurt and you make the most of your runs. I use the runner's world smart coach online.
